Must be good jeans

As Hayley Williams once said, the best concert jeans are the ones that don’t show booty cleavage. Maybe that’s just a problem us girls face, but comfy-yet-awesome jeans to wear to concerts are hard to come by for guys and gals.

I may just be a hardcore nerd to most, but during my college years I used to moonlight as a “jeans specialist” at the Buckle, meaning I turned into the ultimate jeans snob. Here are some of my picks for best concert wear!

Guys:

MEK - These are my all-time favorite jean. Their black jeans look great with everything! When trying on MEKs, be sure to try a size up and a size down from what you normally wear. If you prefer a slim fit, a size down will most likely be what you want. Be prepared to shell out $125 on up for these, but they'll last longer than your cheap jeans, so it all evens out.

Big Star Vintage - These are the kind of jeans that feel lived-in from the start, which is a plus for anyone who hates going to a concert in jeans you can't mosh in! They're also a sister company of True Religion, so you know you're getting long-lasting jeans, but without hurting your account as much. If you like a super slim fit, BSV Orions are the best you could possibly buy.

Archaic - When I see a guy wearing Archaic jeans I automatically tag him as someone with good taste. They're sexy and they're comfortable. This brand is a branch of Affliction, but with a cheaper price tag.

Gals:

MEK - And we're back to my favorite jean brand! This particular jean, the Hong Kong, is stretchy and has a slight bootcut. No booty crack here, btw, which is good since the pockets will draw attention to that region!

Forever 21 - My favorite skinnies come from Forever 21. They're cheap, they're stretchy, and they look great with my boots. My favorites right now are the Distressed Signature Skinny Jeans. You neeeeeeed these! (You also need a pair of black, knee-high biker boots, but that's another story)

Miss Me - This brand is a classic. They're reasonably priced AND they have the coolest pockets ever. I love that when I dance around at concerts in these jeans, they move with me instead of just falling down like some of my others do. Love them!
